<b>Description:</b><br />
"Entrainment and mixing in clouds are important processes. The rapidity of the mixing process largely determines its impact on cloud particle spectra. Entrainment and mixing also have dynamical impacts in cumulus and stratocumulus clouds. While entrainment can be resolved in some high-resolution 3D atmospheric models, mixing and microphysics are subgrid-scale processes in virtually all such models. Representing the effects of entrainment and mixing in clouds in cloud-resolving to global 3D models remains a challenge. We encourage abstracts on all aspects of entrainment and mixing in clouds: observations, measurements in laboratory analogs, high-resolution simulations, and new approaches to representing entrainment and mixing in lower-resolution models."<p></p>
