Dear KT group:<p></p>

We will be meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 15 in the afternoon during the<br />
first breakout session regarding "KT to NWP and Climate Centers".<p></p>

As you may recall from our August meeting in 2007, we discussed<br />
subjecting an AMIP integration of SPCAM to the diagnostics used by<br />
the CCSM community to analyze the mean climate and variability<br />
of the standard CAM. <br />
Thanks to the hard work of Rodger Ames and CMMAP colleagues in Fort Collins,<br />
these diagnostics are ready.  I will present a brief overview during the plenary<br />
on Tuesday morning, and we will discuss them further during our<br />
breakout with a view towards identifying interesting papers that<br />
could emerge from these diagnostics.<p></p>

Charlotte DeMott has offered to discuss her analysis of surface heat fluxes<br />
