Dr. Mariana Vertenstein, Co-Chair of CESM Software Engineering Working Group<p></p>

The Software Engineering Working Group (SEWG) was formed to examine software engineering issues related to creating and executing CESM model codes, and to recommend and help coordinate software engineering practices that will help the CESM project to achieve its goals.  Due to imminent CESM code deadlines, this will be an informal Q & A session.<p></p>

Marat Khairoutdinov<p></p>

	Marat will report on plans and progress for implementing the MMF into the ECMWF global NWP model.<p></p>

Steve Krueger<p></p>

Steve, Dave, Robert Pincus, and Pete Bogenschutz in collaboration with NCEP scientists recently submitted a proposal  to implement several CMMAP-developed conventional parameterizations into the GFS and CFS global models.<p></p>
