Align Tree Ring Cores Activity

Shown below are three (simulated) tree ring cores from different pieces of wood. The first (top) was taken recently from a live tree. The second (middle) was taken from a log, and the third (bottom) was taken from a beam in a log cabin. Align the cores to create a composite chronology of the climate history of this locale. Drag the cores back and forth (right and left) on the screen until their tree ring patterns align.
