Teaching Weather and Climate
Summer Teacher's Course

course

This yearly Summer Teacher's Course took place at Colorado State University for secondary science teachers. It provided college-level content on the basic physics of the atmosphere, weather, climate, climate modeling, and climate change as well as demonstrated dozens of inquiry-based activities suitable for use in classrooms.

Support for the Summer Teacher's Courses has moved from CMMAP to ESMEI, the Earth System Modeling and Education Institute. A direct link to our programs for teachers is here.

Below are resources and other materials for participants from current and past courses.

For information about the Summer Teacher's Course, kindly contact Melissa Burt.
